Sound of Silence [w/ Janessa]

On Christmas Eve, my sister Janessa (who is also into making music) and I decided to do a cover of a classic Simon & Garfunkel song, Sound of Silence. I remember exactly where I was when I got into this song. Someday

This is a cover I made of The Strokes – Someday, a band I’ve been listening to quite a bit lately. When I made it, I decided to dedicate it to my brother’s birthday since the first line gives me some nostalgia (in many ways / they’ll miss the good old days / someday, someday) but the rest of the song doesn’t fit, honestly. STILL, I enjoyed making this type of laid back song.
