Duck Slaughter

Sometimes you just gotta shoot some ducks. This is what Nintendo realized back in the late 80’s. But they didn’t have enough power and resources to completely fulfill this dream.

“Soundtrack”… done!

It took me a summer of recording and a winter of mastering, but finally I am done with my newest project, an album called Soundtrack. Most other musicians I know just mess around with an acoustic guitar and love songs, and that’s cool, but I wanted to try something different. When I listened to other albums with huge instrumentation backing the singer like Julian Casablancas’ recent album Phrazes for the Young, I thought, why can’t I do that? So I studied drum machines, orchestra arrangements, electronic bass, vocal manipulation, etc, and came up with this.
